anyone get HCG levels at 3 weeks?

We just got our bloodwork back and they dated us for 3 weeks. Our HCG levels were 605 We had a flase pregnancy that never developed in July so we are SO nervous. But our levels than were only 91!

I just wanna feel calm about it. We have to re test in 2 weeks to make sure they go up

that actually seems really high for 3 weeks. how many days past ovulation are you?

 i had my hcg done at 10 dpo and it was only 20.  by 18 dpo it was 525.  and we saw the heartbeat yesterday at 6 w 1 day.

at 3 weeks most people don't even know they are pregnant yet. so that seems a bit odd.

I'm confused....how can you be 3 weeks pregnant with beta levels that show up at all?  3 weeks = only 7 days after you ovulated, implantation has barely occurred.

Do you mean 3 weeks past conception? so 5 weeks pregnant?  My levels were over 2000 by 5 weeks.

I missed my period in December. I would have had my period sometime at the very end of December. I started having symptoms before i missed my period. I took at test Jan 1 and it was positive. We had blood work Jan 4th and those were the results. So am I 3 weeks pregnant? that is what the dr says

Mine were 37.2 at what we think was 3 weeks and 98 48 hours later. Now, I am 12 weeks and baby is great!

Not everyone gets hcg betas taken with their pregnancies... So maybe she doesn't understand how it works despite already having two kids...

Ignore Heather's comment - that was just rude.  It really sounds like you are further along based on when you expected your period and your levels.  However, HCG levels can vary WIDELY!  Mine were 584 at 4w2d and almost 1500 2 days later.  They will be able to date it more accurately when you get your 1st U/S.

BTW, I've never heard of waiting 2 weeks to make sure your numbers are increasing.  Mine was re-checked two DAYS later.  Something really doesn't seem right.  You may want to consider a new OB or at least a 2d opinion.

I really don't think this is the forum for rude comments and name calling.  It's a place for support and if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything, or at least have some tact.  Who cares if she's in Canada?  Am I automatically supposed to assume that they have substandard care?  Once you have a dr, you're stuck wth them for the rest of your life?  I have family in other countries and they care was comparable to mine.  I really hope you teach your children better manners.

i took a hpt 3 weeks after my last period cuz i just thought i was pg. i was. i got my betas done at 3w2d and it was 77. my dr. thought i was nuts and didn't understand why i thought i was pg since i hadn't missed my period. i just knew, that's why i took the hpt. sometimes you just get a gut feeling. my dr did my betas every 2 days because she was worried i had another ectopic (had one 2 months prior). once she saw it bumping up and up, she stopped taking them and scheduled an u/s when she thought the HCG would be high enough to see the pregnancy. if you're not at a high risk, she may not care to see it double every 48 hours. she may schedule more around the time she thinks it'll be high enough to do an u/s.
