Worried this morning - IVF ladies please help

Hey ladies. Maybe its because I have my period but I am so frustrated that I cant start stims till Friday. Im worried that having to wait that long is going to mess up this IVF cycle.

The reason they are making me wait till Friday is because of scheduling conflicts for my ER in a few weeks. I am CD2 of my period and am still on Lupron (10units). They said to continue the 10 units of Lupron till I start stims on Friday. So because Im taking Lupron does that mean my follicles are just hanging out? Im worried about some becoming dominant because I cant start stims right away.

Ugh, I am all over the place as you can see from my paragraph above. Talk me down from the ledge. The Lupron is still suppressing me till stims right? Should I be worried?

Hey sweetie - I'd try not to worry and trust that your RE knows what he's doing. It's so hard, I know. I'm currently trying to bully mine into letting me start stims without AF, who is a no show. Hehe, I think I need to take my own advice! I hope I'm starting stims with you on friday!

cbubbles- I hate waiting for AF!! So annoying! Im sending you some AF vibes I hope we both get to start stims on Friday and we can be cycle buddies!!! Good luck to you in your upcoming IVF!

Try not to worry I think you'll be just fine. Your RE knows how much you have at stake here and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize your cycle. FWIW I didn't start stims for a few days after my suppression check, I was on 10U of Lupron just like you and my follies appear to be doing just fine. Hang in there Friday will be here before you know it!

I know it is easier said than done, but try not to worry. I'm sure your RE knows what they are doing. I had to be talked down off a ledge myself a few weeks ago when my RE said I would stay on BCPs and Lupron a little longer due to a deep cleaning of their lab. Chalk it up to the hormones making you anxious . You'll be ok

You're totally fine!  For my first IVF, I started AF on like a Sunday, but my RE likes to start stims on Saturdays....so I went almost a week on just lupron.  I got lots of eggs at ER and also got pregnant from that cycle.

I didn't start stims until about CD4.  No one else seemed concerned about this.  I was annoyed just b/c I was anxious to get started, but I doubt it affected my cycle any.
