This sounds terrible, but I have a confession - Pumpkin has been so wild the past few days, it is really driving me nuts. It's all about the snow days. She has been so hyped up, dancing around, running around, jumping up and down, talking non-stop at a high pitch. OMG. She is normally so chill and relaxed, I just don't know how to handle this. Tomorrow is another snow day. When we are outside, she is fine. When we come in, the wild Pumpkin comes out. There are only so many snowmen we can make and walks we can take and times we can sled down the hill before we have to come in. God help me as I am stuck in the house with her again tomorrow.
Here are some pics of our snow day.
Re: Snow is kid catnip edited to add lots of PsIP
Cute, cute, cute! Pumpkin looks so pretty and Jack is too darn cute with that monster hat.
Geez, snow in Atlanta? Your city must be shut down.
Can Pumpkin play with some neighbor kids if she's off again tomorrow?

Oh yes! The entire city is shut down. We have 2 inches if snow, but the real culprit is a thick sheet of ice on everything. Oh, I have plans to walk her down to her friend's house tomorrow so she can play to her hearts content.
It's so funny what 2 inches does to Atlanta when in Northern NJ it's just a coating. lol But I'm sorry you're housebound with a snow-crazed pre-teen, Shelley.
The pics are GREAT however! Love Jack's hat. Love that he'll walk in the snow. Aaron is wary of it. Though he likes to say "Noooo" (which is snow. No! is no).

Completely understand the frustration with preteen/teen girl's energy level sometimes. During the week there are 4 loud happy girls in my house not counting the baby.
The snow pictures are adorable!!! Have fun today!
I'm sure it's a PITA, but remember that this comes only rarely in GA. Let her have her fun and she'll be back to normal soon enough. Unless you think this is a prediction of the Pumpkin to come in the teenage years!!
(And yeah, two inches of snow isn't even worth the trouble to shovel! HA!)
Those are great pictures! It helps that your kids are ADORABLE, but do you just have a point and shoot camera? They really are crisp and clear. Just perfect Shelley!
As much as I would like to take credit for these, my neighbor took the pics with her fancy Nikkon. I sure couldn't take pics near this good, so I let her go crazy with the camera.
