poooooop. :(

LO only poops every few days. His last bowel movement was completely normal. This last one took lots of straining and crying. He only pooped a little bit and it was hard. I am going to give him some diluted apple juice to see if that helps but does anyone have any advice? I hate to see him hurt like that.

    mine had pain when going potty too but his poop wasnt hard. what helped for us was massaging his tummy and bicycling his legs while hes on his back/inclined for a few minutes. Then we would hold him up on a shoulder like we're burping him and pull his legs up like hes doing a squat, and presto! instant poop! Good luck and i hope little guy feels better soon!

    Constipation. Call the dr for their asvice but mine as recommended pear juice over apple, prune juice and water w or wo Karo (yea it's safe) We've had pooping issues so there have been lots of discussions over this w my pedi. P Of course get your dr's suggestion
