  • Well, I might make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies later.   Or those cinnabon things.

I had a glass of wine and went to bed last night.

How did yours turn out?  L has actually been eating them, so I see me making them regularly here.   They are somewhat good... right?  Better than mcdonalds??

  • they're divine.  I'm not telling how many I've eaten.

and bananas are healthy!  Definitely better than McD's on the healthy scale!

  • I don't think the ones I made used any oil or butter in them, oddly enough.

    What recipe did you use?

  • You can bump up the nutritional value by adding whole wheat flour, or a tablespoon of flax meal for omega 3s.

  •  the first one I found on Allrecipes.  There was 1/4 c. of vegetable oil.  Not too bad.

  • I wish I could find the recipe I used!  For the life of me, I can't!!

I did use the white whole wheat flour...but the flax meal is a good idea!

  • I'm wondering if I make foods into muffins he will eat them?

Maybe shred some carrots, zucchini, ham, cheese, etc.

  • Do you have deceptively delicious?  There are muffin recipes in there.  But, I think you could totally be on to something!

  • No, I have heard of it.  I am sure I can google some recipes though.  However, sneaking it past L will be a different story! That kid catches everything!

  • I wouldn't try to 'sneak' it by, but adding some veggies can't hurt. Some of my friends who were trying to do the puree thing had it backfire on them -- one person's son caught her pureeing stuff and became suspicious of EVERYTHING.
