Makayla spellings?

Not expecting, probably another two years or so, but how many ways can you think of spelling Makayla? That was a choice for our LO at the time until we found out LO was a boy. I must have OCD when it comes to baby names and waiting to have another b/c DS is 15 months now and I still can't shake the want to have another one. I'm in school, so I want to finish before having another. Anyhow... the spellings I can think of are:

Makayla

Mikaela

Mikayla

Are there any more that I don't know of out there?

Michaela is the traditional spelling and the BEST spelling. Throwing in Ks and Ys just looks awful IMO.

I perfer the spelling Michaela but I do know someone who spelled it McKayla

Our little girl is Mikala. & we call her Mik sometimes for short...??

I really dislike the "typical" way of spelling it...Michaela...I don't like that Michael is in it. Makayla is one of my favorite names, and sadly my husband doesn't like it so I can't use it! But, that's how I'd spell it if I could use it.

We have a Makayla in my family. I actually prefer this spelling.

Michaela looks like it should be pronounced Michael-uh. Makayla is the most popular spelling right now. I'd stick with that.

I like the traditional "Michaela" spelling.  I don't care for the random insertion of a "K" into names.

I'm a little bias but my DD's name is Michela.  It's the Italian way to spell the name and I love it!

There are many out there, but the original is Michaela.

Unfortunately, this name has become confused with MAC names which means people use MAC, MC, MIK, and MAK to spell it.
