Nickname for Melody?

So I thought that this would be an easy name for a nickname.  Nope!  She's been here a while and I don't like the name, Mel.  I don't like Melly either because it sounds too much like "Smelly" (which is what I call her anyway sometimes).

I know she might get other nicknames down the road, but can you think of any others for Melody?  TIA!

The only Melody I know goes by Mel.

As a kid, I had a very tomboy friend named Melody who went by "Odie". Best 8 year old shortstop ever!

This.  She'll get nicknames naturally as she grows, but I wouldn't struggle with it.

I'm not struggling with it.  My mom calls her Mel and I'm trying to think of one that's better than that.  And I'm just a nicknamey person.  I tend to shorten most peoples names.  So to name my daughter with a name that doesn't lend to a nickname that easily was a little funny to me.

No worries, just trying to think of a good nickname before someone gives her a stupid one

i know Mimi is normally a nn that goes with another name but i think it could work for Melody. it was the 2nd one i thought of after Mel
