Anyone know of any gymnastics places, either clubs or through community ed programs, etc. for beginning tumbling/gymnastics for 2-5 year olds? I am looking more around SW metro areas.
We did The Little Gym when my son was 1 1/2. It's a good program and a lot of fun but on the spendy side. I am in NW metro and we have community programs (might be part of ECFE) with tumbling/gymastics for that age group. I am guessing most metro areas offer something like this.
Most of the big gymnastic places have toddler & parent classes that start at either age 2 or 3. We were going to do the one at Hamline University but DD wasn't quite old enough. But all the other ones I looked into also offered it.
We've done The Little Gym and have been very happy with it. It is a little more spendy, but we've felt it to be worth it. Not sure if there are any locations in the SW metro. Good luck!
We take DS to The Little Gym. It is a little pricey, but worth it to us. He loves going. We just started him in September and we also signed him up for the next semester as well. www.thelittlegym.com
you local Y should also have a mom and tot class if your school's community ed program doesn't.
We'll be putting K in gymnastics at the Roseville Gymnastics Center this fall, when she's 3. They don't have a parent child class, so it starts at 3. They were quite a bit cheaper than the gymnastics gyms (like flips, gleasons, tags and midwest), but they have a great program if she does really like it.
