And my tubes are open
It was crampy for a bit, I was very glad I took the 800mg of Ibuprophen. Overall, it was fast and very cool to see my uterus and tubes on the TV screen. I was very happy to have a female MD and radiology tech as well.
Next, it's off for DH to do his SA.
I wanted to start my bloodwork this cycle but CD 3 was when we were travelling for Christmas, so it will have to wait for next cycle.
Re: XP from TTGP: Had my HSG
That's good news about your tubes being open! I should be having that test in the next few weeks. Did you get the advil before or after the procedure? I've also heard that women get pregnant often after having that test done- like a big flush out of the system! haha. I don't think they left men do the radiology tests for vaginal issues. I have transvaginal ultrasounds/mammograms and breast MRI's every 6 months and have never had a guy. I actually asked and was told men can't do them! Makes sense to me. Good luck with the SA. DH called his insurance co today to see if the test will be covered(we are on different policies). He said it was funny talking to another woman about his swimmers. I wish I could have been on the other line...

I took it about 1.5 hours before. I think it helped for sure. Good luck to you, too!
