I knew one guy in high school with the name Jeremiah, and that's what we called him. Are there any nicknames for this name?

I taught a Jeremy and his nickname was "Germ" or "Germy". Not very flattering lol.

We have a friend named Jeremiah and everyone calls him Jerm. The guys called him Sperm in HS.

Jem.  That's the only one that would come to mind.  I have a friend that we called Jem because he was told that if he wasn't named Jordan, his name would have been Jeremiah, and he liked the nickname Jem, so that's what I called him

My brother is a Jeremiah. He goes by Jer. I thought Jer was a common nn for Jeremiah. He once put someone face first in a trashcan in high school for the jeremiah was a bull frog comment lol

Scout's brother in To Kill a Mockingbird is Jem, but I can't remember if it's short for Jeremiah...a good name regardless
