Pregnant after a Loss

too early for flutters??

Last night as I was falling asleep, I swear I was feeling flutters.  It felt like...water gently boiling just below my belly button.  It didn't feel bloaty like gas at all.  I'm only 13w4d, but baby was measuring ahead at my 12 week u/s (7cm at 11w5d).  Is it possible that I'm feeling movement this early?

Re: too early for flutters??

  • I was surprised too when I started feeling flutters around 14w3d... It got stronger around 15 weeks and now I am 16 weeks and there is no doubt it was baby. If you are more in-tuned with your body you tend to feel earlier. Keep an eye on it... I bet it is baby... :)

  • Could go either way.  I swear that sometime around 14-15 weeks I felt my DD.  But I didn't feel her again for quite a while, so it could have been some weird gas.
  • if right by belly buttom possibly not. LO is still low,but it is possible!

  • I felt flutters w/ Grace very very early, like if I didn't sound completely nuts, I'd say right around 12 weeks.  I know they always say you feel them earlier w/ a 2nd+ baby but I was very surprised.  Anything's possible!

  • It was probably about an inch and a half to two inches below my belly button.

  • I have no idea if that's movement or not (I'm almost 19 weeks and haven't felt anything yet so I don't know what it feels like or how it would be described) but if it is flutters, yay for you-how awesome!

  • I think it's possible, my mom keeps telling me anytime now I'll start to feel flutters and I'm just over 11 weeks.

  • I'm such a dork, you guys! I am so obsessed with figuring out where the top of my ute is that that is what I was actually referring to when I said it was an inch and a half to two inches below my belly button. The flutters were much lower than that, about a third of the way between my pubic bone and belly button.
