I finally couldn't stand the hobbit feet any longer and decided my irrational fear of pedicure while pregnant was no match for dead skin.

I always get weird colors in winter, since you don't see your feet much, so this time I picked a dark, dark, shiny, pearly blue.

And was all warm inside to turn it over and find out the name was "Midnight Cami."

I know that's stupid, but there it is.

I have that color! It's so pretty! I think it's wonderful that you overcame your silly fear and that's the color you chose! Love it.

Why are you afraid of pedicures?

Because I'm a paranoid fool who also heats up her deli meat and badgers waiters to find out if cheese is pasturized.

Most pregnancy books tell you not to get pedicures while pregnant (fear of bacteria/pressure points on the feet). My OB gave me the "wink wink I can't say it's 100% okay wink wink wink" response, so I decided to go for it.

I didn't know that.I never would have given a second though to getting a pedicure. I have had a few since being pg. I don't get pedicures often. I usually try to do it at home. At this point though bending over that longs does a few things, makes me puke a little, gives me heartburn, or makes leaves me gasping for air. Someone else is going to have to do it from now on. I couldn't even finish shaving today.

Hmmm I didn't know this... guess I didn't read the pregnancy book carefully enough (great example I am for my students!). I still really want to get one next week as a Christmas present to myself! lol

I officially give up on shaving. It's just not happening any more.

I usually do wild colors in the winter too. I did a pedi on myself on friday but went with a regular color since I wasn't sure how much longer I'd be able to reach my own feet, lol.
