I just can't work this week

Our office does the last two weeks off - either you take paid time off or no pay.  I was able to get out of this because of the baby in April and wanting to save my time for my maternity leave.

But OMG....I'm dying.  There's no one working and have yet to get one email or phone call.  I don't think I can work all week.  I'm pretty worthless anyways.  I've spent the morning wrapping some last minute gifts. 

I'm trying at least, right?

    my work has a winter recess from Dec. 24 - Jan. 3. because of the short month, i hussled to get everything done early and now i'm just sitting here waiting for Dec. 24 to roll around. i'm so bored. my only work friend is on vacation too, so there isn't even anyone to talk to.
