Babies R Us return policy ?

 I had my shower today, and it was absolutely wonderful. So much fun, and I'm so overwhelmed and humbled by the generosity of my friends and family. Teeny tiny problem with the babies r us registry. I got duplicates of 2 large gifts. Both parties said they bought off the registry. One of the items still doesnt show that it was fufilled even though I got 2. And the other item shows one was purchased, but the first one wasn't taken off. Anyways...Of course there are no gift receipts... 

 Anyone know what babies r us will do about this? All I'm looking for is store credit. I'm just trying to figure out ahead of time what kind of a fight i'm in for. Thanks in advance for any input!

just mark it as purchased in your registry.  in the purchased column type 2 then hit update.

There return policy is pretty good. I returned my duplicate items last week, some which weren't even on the registry and they accepted them for a store credit.

I'm glad you had such a wonderful shower!!!  BRU's accepted returns on any items that their store/online sell.  The items did not have to come from the registry to be returned.  I had a similar problem with large gifts not be accounted for and receiving duplicates...they provided store credit without any problems.

I had a couple of random items that weren't on the registry that their system wouldn't allow me to return.  After that, I always added the items and marked them as purchased, as described above.

I returned the bag sling that I got. I didn't have a receipt or gift receipt, and the guy made that face and started to say what was clearly going to be "no,"  but then instead said, "Was it on your registry?" It was, so he gave me store credit (which was what I wanted, too).

BTW, if you're returning something that you don't want to have after all, be sure to update your registry. Mine showed the bag sling as available for purchase again!
