Post D&E bleeding....

I had my D&E last Thursday and had pretty decent bleeding up until Sunday.  On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I was able to get by with just a panty liner (only had a little when I wiped).  Yesterday I had nothing at all until last night when it was light brown spotting on the toilet paper.  Today it is heavier.  uggghhh...just when I thought it was over....BAAAMMMM!

I know it has only been one week, so I am hoping that to stop and then start again is fairly normal.  I was really hoping to be able to have sex on Sunday...man it's been a while!

anyone else have experience with the bleeding stopping and then starting again?

I m/c'd naturally, but I did have heavy bleeding for several days, then it slowed down and then I had more heavy bleeding.

Sorry- duplicate.  I was trying to ask if yours just lightened up or stopped completely at one point?  I'm in the boat where I've had a four or five day period where it stopped, but then restarted.  I've been bleeding for almost 15 of the past 19 days.

I feel your frustration. My d&e was on the 6th, and the bleeding was down to hardly even panty liner worthy yesterday evening, this morning, then around noon it increased again. more clots. The two week no sex rule is up on Monday, I was gonna squeeze it in on Sunday (shouldn't make a difference), but not I'm kind of bummed out.

It had pretty much stopped.  There may have been a "tint" of color when I wiped, but almost nothing.  I am only on day 8, so I know that there is a possibility that I have some more time on my hands, but I was really hoping that it was done.

My doc told me 10 days....so no...I don't think one day will matter.  I think I am going to go for it anyway, it has been too long and I need that physical connection with my husband again.

Yep, that's me.  I actually wrote on another board as well b/c I was concerned about it.  I had very light spotting for the first 3 days and then on the 4th day, really heavy bleeding.  Now its back to light spotting and I'm tired of pantiliners!  When will it stop?!

I am totally fine with panty liners...as long as I don't have to wear a pad, I am good to go (well as good as I can be )

I bought a bunch of pads expecting a heavier flow after the d&c.  You know, "pad technology" has come a long way.  I hadn't worn pads since my teenage years and I will say they are a lot better these days.  Still hate them but much better than I recall.

I dont know why I hate pantiliners so much as well. Partly just want this all to be over so we can start again!

This is me, after 3 days of spotting found out on the 10th I had a blighted ovum, should have been 9w6d but empty sac only measured 6w.  Monday things really started with very VERY heavy clotting/bleeding, lighter Tuesday, then Wednedsay and Thursday had extremely painful cramping, passed some large hunks of tissue, and now down to a light flow.  Hope it's about over, this is not a fun ride to be on.  I want off!
