I'm resigning as the President of the Preschool's PTO. I don't need to get into anything lengthy, just a quick and professional "I'm done". I don't want to use terms like "regretfully" or "pleasurable experience" because frankly, I'm leaving b/c of the drama around one particular parent and I don't need the stress in my life. At the same time, I don't want to sound bitter. I've been mulling over this for a couple of days and I can't come up with anything good. Any ideas?
Re: Need help with a quick "professional" email
Does it have to say anything besides "This letter is to inform you that I will be resigning as President of Preschool PTO as of {date}."
If you wanted to add more... "thank you for the opportunity to serve. I look forward to continued involvement as a Preschool parent"
or something.
