Favorite Christmas cookie recipes

Anyone want to share their favorite cookie recipes for Christmas time? My mom and sister are coming over this weekend to bake cookies and I'm trying to decide what kinds we will do. Sugar cookies for sure ... but any other suggestions? Or do you have a favorite sugar cookie or frosting recipe?

My favorite cookie to make as a kid was sugar cookie candy canes.  I don't remember exactly what recipe my mom used, but it was pretty similar to this one:  https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/sandra-lee/candy-cane-cookies-recipe/index.html

They taste really good, and some years we even made a bunch to put on the tree.

I have been making THESE Raspberry & Almond Shortbread Cookies for years and they always get RAVE reviews   They will probably be the only cookies I make this year.

Yum! these all sound so good! I might have to make some this week to see which ones we want to make more of. We were trying to stick to doing big batches of just a few cookies, but I have a feeling we will end up doing a bunch more to try out some new ones.
