I think the last 2 boxes of Target diapers we have had have made DD pee smell really bad. It seems like the diapers get a really strong odor to them and it is really yuky, esp the morning pee pee. Plus they raised the prices up, so now I am rethinking them! The smaller box used to be $13.49 and now they are up at $16.49, but you can buy the club pack for $20, which I do buy.

Re: Target Diaper users...smell issue?
Yes, the morning diaper is the worst! I started noticing it with the last box (club size). The price change really annoys me too and I never buy without a $1.50 off (usually there's a coupon on their webpage). I don't want to go 'diaper searching' again - Pampers = rash, Huggies = leaks, Luvs = smell, ugh!
ETA: I'm hoping & praying we'll be potty training soon! That will be the easiest solution
I have noticed that too with them lately.I hate that they have changed them and raised prices.
And to the newbie commenting about CD's--- I CD only at night and I still deal with strong pee smell. And yes, I use CD detergent and wash them correctly. Face it. Pee smells. CD's are not the answer-all to every diaper issue. And CD's still can leak. I had to try several brands and combos of liners to get a combo that finally worked ok.
I think they must of changed something because yesterday Jenhum said the same thing when I mentioned it at the play date. I may do a cost comparison with Costco and wait until they have a coupon.
As for the CD, it's not something I am interested in doing and have zero desire to try.
Well said! I CD part time and love it, but it took me a while to feel the love - pee does smell no matter what - 12 hours of pee = YUCK!!!
Oh - and Target diapers - yes - annoyed they raised their prices too, but still cheaper than the alternatives.
I haven't bought any lately and didn't realize they have raised the price.
We use Huggies Overnights and really like them. Maybe you could try them for nighttime.
My Sweet Girls
I have noticed the smell as well and it is gross.
We use CD part time but as a working mom daycare will not allow them. It is not the answer to everything although I may be a big advocate if the question were something different.
