Snow Day!

I live on top of a steep hill and there absolutely no way my neighbor (who happens to be one of my best friends and co-workers) and I were going to make it to work. It look as if they've scraped the road at some point, but it's already covered up and it's still pouring.

Who else is snowed in? What do you plan to do today? I have some stuff for school I may go ahead and finish, so I don't have to worry about it later!

I am literatly 10-15 miles away from the lake effect that is hammering lake county indiana today.  I don't have to work today but DS and I do have to go to the grocery store.  THankfully there is one about 2 miles away, the freezing cold weather is what is going to do me in though.  BOO!

ME!  Well, were not really snowed in, but I do have a snow day.  The schools here in southern OH close for any little amount of snow.  I grew up in WI so we never would have had off for 4 inches.  I think we will take the pups for a long trail walk through the snow and then maybe get some Christmas shopping done later after the roads are cleared.  I'll probably try to get some school work done, but I always say that!  I might trim the dogs and bathe them if there is time.

I'm in the secondary snow belt outside downtown cleveland. We're getting hit pretty hard (2nd week in row). I can't even see the houses beyond the wooded area out my back window (they're not that far away and always visible). 

So I'm working from home and doing some online Christmas shopping. I'm hoping to get a lot of it purchased on Amazon today. And I get to hang out with my cute little pup who just LOVES the snow.

I don't know if I could ever live somewhere where it did snow. That being said, it does snow here in Arizona, just not where I live (in the city). I can always drive to the snow for a fun day to go play in it though, which is usually just enough snow for me.

I live near Cleveland work in Cleveland.  The mayor has asked all downtown working employees to be let off early, starting at 2:30pm.  We've heard nothing about going home early   and I'm supposed to be here til 6:30 tonight, boo.
