Evap. line vs. faint pos. ?

I POAS this am with FRER and there was a second line but it is soo light I couldn't tell if it's a faint positive or just an evaporation line. If you tilted the test just right you could almost see it so now I'm thinking maybe my eyes are just playing tricks. But how do you tell the difference between the two? TIA

Was the line you saw pink?

An evap line is not pink.  It's gray-ish, and you'd see it in the same place you'd see the second pink line if the test was positive.  I haven't heard of FRER tests getting evap lines very often, FWIW. 

Test again in the morning -- good luck!

I think if you have to do all that to *almost* see it, I would consider that negative and test again in a day or two.

A positive should be noticable

My BFP was really, really faint, but I got a positive on a digital. I'd go out and get one and use it tomorrow AM.

Please stay away from the FRER-Gold digital! Lots of false positives! Google it if you want more info!

I tested this weekend on an IC, and could see a second line. Upon inspection, I couldn't tell if it was colored or not. I originally thought that evaporation lines were only visible on a dried test- or after the period of time to read the test. This one was not like that. I read on peeonastick.com that evap lines can happen anytime. It kinda got my hopes up- but two negative tests later (and 3 days) it was confirmed to be an evap line.
