We want to cd, but I am a litle overwhelmed by all the choices. Luckily we live close to a Cotton Babies store, so I was able to go take a look at all the options. After being there, we thought we would go with the flip, but I just did some reading about softbum. Any reviews or comparisons? Thanks!
Re: softbums vs. flip
The only downside I can see with Softbums is that since the interiors are fleece lined, they aren't wipeable. I haven't used Flips yet, but I know you can at least wipe them out. Softbums has a more customizable fit, but if Flips fit like BG they'll also fit well.
With both diapers, I'd have issues with newborn EBF poo. DD pooped almost every single diaper change. I couldn't use something that just laid in the diaper and expect to be able to use the cover again. Maybe if you have a baby that poops less you'd have better luck!
We decided to go with the Flips, and they came in the mail today. (-: They're super cute! I have no experience with them or cloth diapering period, but after doing a lot of research I'm excited to use the Flips. But we probably won't start until after 6 weeks or so, and might have to be creative with the BM problem, since I plan to breast feed. Financially they seemed like the best for the amount we were able to spend and ease of use.
GL!
