Toddler Mittens - Where to get a pair??

Yes I know it's cold outside, but I have yet to find mittens that actually fit Ella.  I feel like a bad mother b/c the daycare teacher told me that I really need to start sending mittens - and better yet - keep a spare pair in Ella's cubby. 

Anyways - I need suggestions as to where to look.  I've been to Old Navy, Target, Kohls, and REI and haven't found mittens in her size.  I'm getting a little desparate.  Any other places I can look?

I got mine online at Childrens Place 18-24m size. Maybe you could call the store and check?

omg! I did that this weekend since we don't have mittens yet, either. Worked wondefully, just like mittens.

Glad I'm not the only mom with no mittens AND sock stand-ins.

In the past we've had luck at Childrens place, gymboree, and h&m.

I got two pairs of toddler mittens for $1 at WalMart.. They were in the toddler section, on a rack near the hairbows & such. They're just those stretchy kind. They're a little big, but they stay on. Holly loves her "minnens" :-)

I got a set for Caleb at K-mart. They had some really cute ones. I got him a hat with a set of mittens for $3, it looks like a crochet set.

Thanks - I check Childrens Place last night and I guess the cold weather has got everyone thinking hats / gloves b/c they had like 4 sets left!  Anyways - I'll check out Walmart and KMart today and if all else fails - I'll just send socks.  I really need to bust out my crochet needles, learn how to use them so I can be prepared for next year!
