NBR: If you give cookies as gifts

How many do you give?  I've been making batches of Christmas cookies in the evenings after DD1 goes down (makes me feel like I've accomplished something), and I have a crap ton of decorative boxes.  So we're going to give cookies to DH's coworkers and some of our friends around here.  How many cookies do you think would be appropriate for a single person/couple/family of four?

I would say a dozen or so. My DH is a cookie-aholic. So I would like 2 dozen, so I would get maybe a few...haha

Single - 4-6

couple- dozen

family of four - a dozen as well

I usually give at least a dozen.....but this year, being in a new place, I'm mainly giving to the dif sections in my company.  so I'm giving 1-3 dozen (each section has 6-18 people)  For the other medics, they are getting a dozen each, too
