Detergent Question

I make my own laundry detergent using the following recipe:

1 cup grated Fels-Naptha

1/2 cup washing soda

1/2 cup borax

Is this something that I will be able to use to wash cloth diapers and baby clothes, or will I need to buy a special detergent (or switch to a different homemade version)?

I make that same laundry detergent and use it on baby clothes, but not on diapers.  There is a laundry detergent you can make for CD's, it's basically the same, but with no soap.

This might be a stupid question, but I have an HE washer, any advice on what detergent to use for regular baby clothes and cloth diapers (if we go that way)?
