I am on a dairy/soy/egg/nut/fish-free diet for LO. We met with our pediatric gastroenterologist yesterday and he said LO is looking good and is ready for cereal.
I see that Gerber cereals have soy oil and lecithin which resources seem to say are safe to use with soy allergies but am wondering if anyone has found an alternative that doesn't even have soy in them or if you are using Gerber and it is going fine.
Re: LOs with food allergies - what cereal to use?
Thanks everyone! Interesting idea to wait but DH and I are eager to give cereal because LO just stares us down anytime we bring anything near our mouths and often tries to dip his hands into our food
I found Beechnut and Happy Bellies at Target so I think we are in a good position for the big day this week!
