Half bald?

DD was born missing almost all of her hair in the front... has anyone else seen anything like this? She has long thick hair in the back but the front half almost has no hair I'm worried it's gonna stay like this.

She is starting to get more hair in front but it's a slow process so far.

Yup!! My DD has the exact same balding pattern, haha!! She has super long hair in the back and barely anything on top. The 1st picture, a day after she was born kind of shows what I'm talking about. I am worried too, only because my mom told me that's how my hair looked until I was 3!!!! Ugh!! I usually cover her balding with a cute hat or headband like in the 2nd pic, even though I love my little baldy just the way she is.

Half bald is better then totally bald. You will be able to give her a ponytail before you know it. DD has no hair. lol. The back usually gets a bald spot before it all evens out. Then it will probably all look about the same I would guess.

DD started off with a nice crop of hair but at two weeks lost everything on the top  She was rocking her grandpa 'do for a few weeks but it has definitely grown back and is now almost even with the hair on the sides/back of her head.

i LOVE that outfit and the headband she has on in the second picture! where did you get it? she looks adorable!

DD came out looking like a tonsured monk.  Peach fuzz on top and 3 inches all around the sides. It's all grown in just fine!

My girl has this too, although it is more like a receeding hairline look!  I think it's getting more pronounced too because the hair in the back it getting longer and darker.

My DS was the same way.  Mullet.  It's pretty common and doesn't stay that way!  Some day she'll have a full head of hair

DS was totally rockin a rat tail for a week or so, but its finally starting to fill it. Its still much longer in the back though!

Yep.  DS has the mullet too!  Looks like he needs a haircut in the back and on the sides, but just a tiny dusting on top.  It is especially goofy looking now, as he is loosing it slowly in the areas where his head rubs (ie. one random spot on the back and the front of the sides).

My little man has a mullet too. The hair on top is slowly starting to come in though!

My daughter inherited my cowlick.  I apologize to her daily.  But, if she's like me, she won't have hair til she's at least 3!

i think i have the same month stickers! here's a picture of his funky hair...you can tell its lighter on top and long on the sides (and back!) he was born with hair on top, its just disappearing.

Kiddo has a tonsure right now (just in time for my mother-in-law's first visit). He was born with a full head of hair and it started to fall out in the last day or so. After his bath last night there was a clump of hair stuck to his bum--my husband flipped out 'cause he thought it was poo.
