PSA: Book sale in Tuscaloosa

Just wanted to let you all know that the School of Library and Information Studies at UA is holding its annual children?s book sale on the 5th floor of Gorgas library on campus this week.

They have new books ranging from board books for babies/preschoolers to picture books and chapter books for elementary to young/adult and teen. Hardbacks are $3, board books are $2 and paperbacks are $1.

They will be having the sale until 8 p.m. tonight, then 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Friday. But, when I went at lunch the place was already packed with people going through all the books! I try to go every year to stock up on books for Christmas presents and birthday gifts.

They have everything from classics like Curious George and Eric Carle books to character stuff, like Dora the Explorer. FYI!
