I'm 22 weeks, and starting to experience lower back pain. I'm trying exercise, a foam roller, a heating pad, a store-bought back massager and my husband got me a prenatal massage as a gift. Any other suggestions for relief? Thanks!
If you have already tried all of those, perhaps a visit to a chiropractor who has worked with pregnant women before. Hip, leg and back alignment go haywire at this stage so some adjustments might do you wonders.
My NP gave me these tips at my last appointment because I am on my feet a lot during the day and my lower back and hips hurt by the end of the day:
1. Fill a sock with rice and tie at the end, you can heat it in the microwave and put around your lower back/hips. Just be sure to put a towel or cloth in between you and the heat so you don't get over heated.
2. Rest for a few minutes with your feet elevated above your heart.

3. Take Tylenol midway through the day.
Good luck
