Teething pain worse now?

DS is working on his 7th tooth, and the 6th one just broke through a week ago.  He's been waking up in the middle of night screaming, and will only go back to sleep if we hold him or let him sleep with us.  We used to use teething tablets, but now nothing seems to help.  What do you use now for teething pain?
