When to start? Signs of readiness?

First let me start by saying DD is only 20 months, so in no way am I going to push the potty training thing just yet, but she has been giving us some signs (I think) that she might be ready to at least start introducing the idea and I'm not sure what to do.

Lately when she has to go she tells us.  She's telling us she has to poo regardless of what she goes.  Sometimes she'll tell us before she goes, other times it's when she's going.  We did buy a potty chair just to introduce her to it.

Is it still way too young to start introducing the idea of going in the potty?  I think her telling us is a sign of early readiness but I'm not really sure - I'm not sure what to do or where to go from here considering I didn't think we'd be thinking of training until at least 2 years old.  Thanks.
