So yesterday I called the nurses line because I had about 15 braxton hicks over a relatively short period of time and have had a lot of mucousy discharge over the past few days. She told me to go home and drink water and take a warm bath and if they didn't go away to call the on-call line.I knew they would go away if I was lying down... I know what BH feel like vs real contractions. The problem is that they start up every time I'm not lying down. I spoke with my MW about this and she seemed fine with what was going on.
I'm more concerned about the discharge honestly because I never had this issue last time around. I guess if I have more BH today I'll just call them back.
Re: Sent home (TMI)
Ugh, hope you get some relief! That stnks to just be waiting and not able to do anything without them starting up again.
BTW, I love your siggy pic!
Hmm I've had a ton of mucusy discharge for weeks now. I haven't really thought much about it, I thought its normal to have increased discharge in the 3rd tri?
I hope it's normal because I've had an increase too! OP-my ob said it could be the heat that brings them on as well...so rest up!
I think it is normal to have an increase in discharge but mine changed consistency very rapidly. That coupled with the BH I just thought I'd call. The BH have started up again as I'm sitting at my desk. I guess this will just be my new reality for the next 9 weeks.
I have BH all day. everytime I stand up, when my bladder is too full, if I got for a walk etc etc. they pretty consistently stay at 10 mins apart. my baby is still cooking and doing great.
Me too. I have so many Braxton Hicks in a day. I'm trying to just tell myself that my uterus is going to be so well toned by delivery that labor will be a breeze (haha....).
