Anyone in the Oconee area or nearby?

Hey everyone!! I live in Westminster and just found out I'm pregnant! My fiance and I are both firefighters and we're so excited. Trying to find some good prenatal classes, especially those that encourage natural birth. Also trying to find a prenatal yoga class nearby. Any suggestions?

    I have a friend who teaches prenatal yoga at the Botanical Gardens in Clemson.  Ashley Lester.  She just had a baby herself.  :)  But she plans to start back at the first of the year.  I'll come back and repost the info when she does.

     There is a Bradley teacher in Clemson--Kristin Abboud.  She might have a class forming.  I sometimes hold classes in Anderson or Clemson but mine are scheduled for Greenville right now.  You can hire someone to do a private class as well.  Check with Caryn Fontaine--she's in Anderson. 

    I'm a big fan of independent classes for couples planning a natural birth.  But you might be limited in choices without driving to Greenville.  I think Mary still teaches the hospital classes at Oconee.  And while you'll get only a little info on natural birth and alot of info on hospital procedures, she is fantastic.

    DH and I are in Clemson/Central, but we're taking our Hypnobabies course in Greenville.  That's where most of the offerings seem to be.  Maybe if we find something we're both interested in, we could carpool?  If you're interested, send me a PM.

    SCDoula, thank you so much. Love that! Ruchemist, great idea. And we can always meet up :). I think all the upstate bumpies should get together or something lol. I need some PG friends. All my friends are either not PG with no intention of getting PG, or already have kids.
