Clomid help - thin lining on CD12

I was hoping this wouldn't happen but it did.  My lining is 4.1 on CD12.  I got the estrogen patch that is supposed to help, so we'll see.  Anyone else have this problem initially and it turned out ok with the  help of a patch or other remedy?  

I had 4 follies - 1 on left and 3 on right.  20, 17, 15, 12.

Of course I couldn't be one of the lucky ones that avoided the thin lining issue.  This is so frustrating.  Thanks for the feedback Papps.

Hey! This happened to me last cycle on Clomid. I was only 3.5 on CD12 and had a 10, 12, and 14 follie. I was panicked that my IUI was going to be cancelled. I had 2 days to thicken the lining as they wanted to see me again on CD15

So on CD13 I took 1 baby aspirin, had an orgasm, applied a heating pad for 20 min, and drank 16oz POM juice. On CD14 I took 2 baby aspirin, had an orgasm, applied a heating pad for 20 min and drank 16 oz of POM juice.  (sorry about the orgasm comments but the dr said I needed more bloodflow to the uterus to help the lining).

When I went back on CD15 my lining had jumped to a 7.5. It was still on the thinner side (they like to see 8+) but it was enough to do the IUI.

If this cycle doesnt work out I would talk to you RE about switching to Tamoxifen. It is pretty much the same as clomid but helps the lining. I had my CD12 check today and my lining was a 7.8!

I think clomid just thins some people out.

Anytime! This was me last cycle so I totally understand what you are going through right now!

My RE said to take a low dose one. 80mg

My first 2 cycles with Clomid my lining was unaffected however my last clomid cycle I had to be put on Prog. Sups to help it out. I am hopeful i wont have to use them again seeing as I am currently in my first Femara cycle.
