SO, I am in the thoughts of the stroller/carseat thing. Two carseats snapping into one stroller....hmmm, does the stoller that has both seats side by side fit through doors, is the seat in front and back easier?
What is your travel system? How do you like it?
Any beginning shopping , registering ideas would be greatly accepted...websites too!
Thanks!
Re: What is the first thing you bought?
We had a double Snap n Go for the first six months, and also got a City Mini double (which we still use all the time) starting when they were 4m. I highly recommend both! I got the DSNG brand-new on Amazon for $60 and re-sold it for $35 or $40 so I wasn't out that much for the use of the DSNG, and it was very handy.
There aren't a lot of double "travel systems" out there. You can get a Graco Duoglider or similar. I do have one of those that a friend gave me when the boys were 10m old but I only use it at the library and post office (very narrow aisles) or if I'm shopping someplace with no double carts. Generally I find the City Mini much easier to maneuver, open and close.
I have twin registry recs on my blog:

(Sorry it's not clicky; the Bump keeps messing up my links when I try to make them clicky.)
We have the chicco cortina together with the keyfit30 seats. Our boys aren't here yet but I've played with it in the house and it's very fast to snap in the carseats and everything. It's a tandem (front/back) stroller..both carseats fit at the same time.
But the first thing we bought was the Graco Kensington twin bassinet/pnp.
