I just purchased this seat for my 3YO and I can't seem to adjust the harness straps that well.  Once she's in the seat and buckled in, I try to pull the strap to tighten the harness and it doesn't work that well.  I have to really, really pull hard and even then it doesn't feel tight enough (with or without a coat on).  I have had other convertible seats and never had this issue.  Does anyone else have this seat and have the same problem?  I'm wondering if it's something I'm doing incorrectly or a manufacturing thing??

I had the same issue.  Couldn't get it to tighten once he was in.  Pulled on it and pulled on it and nothing!   This is the only covertible car seat I've had (DS is our 1st) so I can't compare it to others.  I played around with it when DS was not in the car seat and quickly realized that to get it to adjust you have to release the little metal latch - which then enables the strap to be loosened or tightened.   Best time/way to do it is when the child is not in the seat.  I think it can still be done if the child is in the seat, but you have to release the latch, then pull the strap, then secure the latch back.  It's just easier to do if the child isn't in the seat.
