Cordelia?? Ciara?? Evelyn??
I thought we'd be picking between our top two choices for girls from last time but DH doesn't care for his pick as much this time and isn't sold on mine (Saoirse). He really like Evelyn at the moment but I'm not sold; there's also an Evie in the playgroup we go to which seems a bit odd (although I know that's sort of silly!).
Thoughts?
Re: I thought we'd narrowed it down...but..what about...
That's definitely another concern with Evelyn - my preference is for less popular (but not made up!) names ;-)
We like Delia as a possible nickname for Cordelia as well.

I want to make another push for Saoirse. I really love that name but there is no possible way we could use it given our Cuban-Russian-Jewish ancestry. I love it so much, I may push for it to be one of those "hidden gem" middle names one day.
That said, of your choices, I like Cordelia the best. Evelyn seems to be getting very popular around me, so it just doesn't sound the same anymore now that I know several little girls with this name. Ciara isn't nearly as interesting as Saoirse or Cordelia.
I like Cordelia the best. Ciara is nms at all.
Also, you have a pm .
LOL Snoop Dog - who'd have thought?!?
Anna - I still really like Saoirse too. For some reason, DH suddenly declared he didn't want something so Irish sounding. It's still on the list though!
Kiwi - PMed ya back!
I suppose I should have also asked if two C names are too matchy matchy (kiddo is Callum).

LOVE Cordelia/Delia. I don't think the two C names are too matchy, especially if you call her by a nn.
Evelyn seems to be getting very popular these days (although I do really like it), and Ciara is NMS.
I love the name Cordelia! And Evelyn is on our short list as well, no nn just Evelyn
The only Ciara I know is BSC, plus I hate that spelling
And Saoirse = wtf. Sounds like a villain's name from Lord of the Rings

Actually, his name is Cordozar and his kids are Cordell, Corde, and Cori. WHY I know this, I am not sure... Oh, thats right, because I'm a name nerd, and always commit trainwrecks like this to memory. lol
I really like Evelyn, but I agree that it is becoming popular. My second choice is Cordelia.
