Cloth Diapering

diaper ointment- shea moisture organic: ok??

I got it at target, it has shea, chamomile, and argan oil. It says it has a natural wax blend, and a bunch of natural oils... no synthetics.

It sounded okay to me, but I wasn't sure about the wax...

Do you think its CD safe? I use cotton prefolds.

  • p.s. it smells delicious!! I really hope it is, I don't like liners... and I have a feeling it will be my new staple. It goes on realllly nice as well. Please, cloth diaper gods, come through for me. I am so sick of CA baby lol.

  • I'd be worried about the shea... shea is pretty heavy IMO. Chamomile is no problem, and I've never heard of argan oil so no help there unfortunately.

What I usually do if I'm not sure about a certain type of cream is apply a good layer to an old insert (or a cloth wipe, if I don't have any old inserts lying around), wash as normal, and then test the absorbancy. If it makes the insert repel, I don't use it.
