Hi Ladies,
I know its a little early but I was looking online and I really like the JCPenney Tori Crib. It is actually on sale right now! I was wondering if anyone has ever bought a JCPenney Crib and their opinions about it. Unfortunately no stores around me have the cribs on display so I would only be ordering it from the online picture. Thanks so much!
Here's the link if you want to see it! https://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=72888&CatID=72888&Grptyp=PRD&ItemId=151ed67&cm_mmc=ShoppingFeed-_-NexTag-_-Furniture-_-Savanna%20Cherry%20Finish%20%22Tori%22%20Crib%20%20Cherry%20Espresso%20White&srccode=cii_9324560&cpncode=20-65163723-2
I like it in white!
Re: JCPenney Crib
We have the Tribeca crib from JCPenney. It was made by a manufacturer that had good reviews in Baby Bargains. No stores near me carry cribs in the store, so we just ordered it from the online photo and reviews.
We had it shipped to the closest store because shipping to our home was outrageous. We ended up with a damaged crib first and they took it back and ordered a new one, but it was a pain in the ass because we had to take it back ourselves and then pick up the new one. We've been completely happy with the crib since it was replaced.
Don't worry about buying it right now unless you're certain. They will be on sale again plenty of times before you'll actually need a crib.
I have all the same to say about our furniture for our 2 1/2 year old boy - and he has jumped on the bed many times and it's still in good shape. We will be using all the same stuff for this DC.
Thanks so much for all of your responses! It sounds like most people had good experiences with JCPenney!
We will still wait a little while to make our final decision and purchase a crib but its good to get feedback and see what people experienced!
I've also heard wonderful things about JCP nursery furniture, so that's where we are going to get ours. Just a quick note, not sure if you are going to use bumpers or not, but just based on the picture and that thick top rail, you won't be able to tie them on the top. This is my 1st baby, but I nannied for an infant and we had the same issue with a Pottery Barn crib. It was such a PITA and unsafe. Just food for thought...
