Teachers

Would you ever eat homemade food from a student?  Just curious.

Re: Teachers

  • Not a teacher, but as a former daycare provider it just depended on the family. Most yes, but some people were no way.

  • I have never understood the many freaked out posts over food that they haven't made themselves.

As a former teacher, in my schools if there were homemade baked goods brought in by anyone, they were GONE in minutes.

I am just curious, b/c I see people saying they are making something for the teachers and I know I have read some people say they would never eat it.  I have made awesome Oreo truffles that would make a nice little gift along with a GC but would hate to waste them if most teachers would never eat it.  Hell, drop off and pick up are from the car so the teachers would probably be scared what my kitchen looks like since they have seen the inside of my car, lol.

  • Only from a select few kids, but I teach high school. They have "creative" baking imaginations.

  • I used to teach middle school.  There was only 1 child I ever threw the food out.  I LOVED home cooked gifts!
