Hi Ladies! Taking a quick escape during lunch to come and give you a quick update. As most of you know, I started working last week. It was hard to go back to work when I had one baby; now with 2 it's even harder! It's no fun leaving the boys behind but it must be done to pay the bills! The boys are doing well overall. Big E has been adapting pretty well and his behavior has gotten so much better - still get a few moments where he goes nutty and tries to hurt his sweet defenseless brother but it is now a rare occasion. He prefers to smother him, kiss him, and make him laugh. Now poor Baby E is suffering of reflux for the past 3 weeks or so. He is usually a very mellow, easy going baby but he's had a few spells of inconsolable crying and spitting up (a lot). I wasn't too concerned as I went through this with Evan but on 3 occasions he has had projectile vomiting (of what seems the entire milk supply he drank) and the 1st time it happened he sort of choked up on the spit up, turned a bit limp, and I had to turn him around and slap (gently) his back a couple of times to make him breath better. Yeah, that was scary! So I took him to the pedi yesterday and started him on Prevacid and we will be seeing pedi gastroenterologist on Friday. Hopefully it's just reflux and nothing else; I just don't want to EVER do CPR on a baby, and especially not mine. So, that's a mini update!
And how are you ladies doing, any updates/news you would like to share?

Re: Reflux is no fun!!!
I'm sorry to hear about the reflux. Choking and gagging are so scary! Andrew had it too and I know it's no fun.
The Prevacid should help reduce the reflux. Andrew was just on Zantac so it reduced the acid to keep it from burning but not the actual refluxing.
Good luck with going back to work and the transition. You have to do what's best for you family and that's what makes you an awesome momma.
I'm sorry about your baby's reflux, I hope the medicine helps him!
Things are good on this end, found out our twins are girls and all of my labs are normal
