NT Scan!

Just got back from our nt scan!  This was our first look at baby and I knew I would get teary, but it was pretty sweet to look over and see dh wiping a tear away too!  The baby was super squirmy, kicking and moving all over!  I thought it was pretty neat, the u/s tech was not as amused.  She was an older lady who was a little grumpy and kept saying things like "*Sigh* it just won't hold still long enough for me to measure X, Y or Z", she kinda made me feel like it was my fault that my kid wouldn't mind!  I almost wanted to say, "I'm sorry, my baby is only 12 weeks old and we don't start teaching manners until week 13!"  But the good news is that the Dr said everything looked perfect, blood work was all great, baby is measuring right on target!  She did put me on Zofran because I have lost 5 pounds since my last appointment 3 weeks ago, so I'm hopeful that it will help me feel better!  Hope everyone else who had their nt scan today had a good day!

    Great news! It sucks that some of these people see so many babies that they just don't realize how much a glimpse of your little one means to you. I'm so happy for you that your little one was active and DH shed a tear..I cannot wait until Friday for mine!

    YAY!  Glad it went well- excited and scared for my NT scan tomorrow!  That tech sounds like an old bat who should retire...  how rude.  As a hospital employee- it's all about the patient and family- not about the convenience of healthcare providers... anway, congrats on healthy baby!!!!!!

    Love your thought re: teaching manners at 13 weeks, LOL!  Congrats on a great scan and getting to see your little one move around so much!

    • 2/10: IUI #1: Clomid 100mg= BFN
    • 3/10- 5/10: IUI #2 Clomid 150mg; IUI #2.2: gonalf, lupron; IUI #2.3: 2 rounds of 5mg Femara=All cancelled for nonresponse
