Cloth Diapering

Newborn combo

I've been checking out different CD blogs and saw a couple recs for using Kissaluv Fitted Size 0 with the Thirsties Duo Wrap Snap for newborns.

Anyone try this? Any other recs for a starter combo for little ones?

Re: Newborn combo

  • My neighbor has used the Kissaluvs with the Thirsties and Bummis covers. She really likes them. I have thought about purchasing some, but I have WAY more diapers than I can use right now.

  • Lots of people love the Kissa's sz 0 for their NB's.  I have the thirsties duo cover with snaps, but it is still a little big.  Right now I prefer my Bummis super brite cover because it has a dip for the cord stump and has velcro.  I can't tell you how long the bummis will fit her though.

    Thanks!

  • We used KL0s-they have snapdown for the umbilical cord and we used then with Thirsties Duo wraps (velcro) but they don't snap down for the cord though I don't remember it being an issue.  We also used prefolds just tri-folded and layed them in the cover.  Oh and newborn GMD workhorses though those were the first she grew out of-the KL0s lasted a few weeks longer!
