DD1 is only 13 months old, but in the last few days she has started throwing tantrums when she doesn't get her way. Today she started screaming and threw herself down on the floor when DH took something away from her. Seems as though she is too young to be doing this ... I'm guessing it has to do with the birth of her little sister. Thoughts, experiences?

Re: More tantrums after #2's arrival?
While #2 isn't here yet, DD definitely started throwing tantrums after her first birthday. I've been reading "The Happiest Toddler on the Block" and it has some helpful info on dealing with tantrums. Toddler-ease seems to work pretty well for us. Here's a preview of the book: https://books.google.com/books?id=NA8H9zqSKeoC&printsec=frontcover&dq=the+happiest+toddler+on+the+block&source=bl&ots=xLMw8wvhIE&sig=wDxP_hsqbB3XC43AlXGXYAsWJEY&hl=en&ei=4z_TTJvuFZD0swOz7tCOCw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=10&sqi=2&ved=0CFAQ6AEwCQ#v=onepage&q&f=false
