Stupid doll question. Poseable vs Non-poseable

Looking at all the different versions of AG dolls and its making my head spin.

There are 2 brands at TRU, Target has Our Generations, Walmart has Friends Boutique and Kmart has a brand that I cant remember the name.

I like the look of the ones at Target the most.  The others are sort of cheap looking.

Anyways, the ones at WM are poseable vs the ones at Target being non poseable.  What exactly does that mean?  Anyone have the ones from WM or Target?

Can the ones from Target move their arms/legs (can they but put into a sitting position)?

Im putting way too much thought into this but Im an obsessive person.  I find something and obsess over it until I get what I want, the best, the right one, or whatever.

I want this doll to be a stand in for about 2yrs until I feel they are ready for a real AG doll.  I want to get them a real AG doll for their bday when they turn 6 or for that Cmas.

Thanks.

  • If it is non posable, it can not be put into a sitting position.  Only poseable dolls can bend at the elbows/knees.  The others may or may not move at the shoulders or hips, but more than likely they don't move at all.

  • Probably the arms and legs rotate, but the knees and elbows won't bend. So you can probably put them into a sitting position, but their legs will stay sticking straight out. We have one from Target and the arms/legs rotate, but don't bend.
