We went with classics. My sister and I dressed up too! I was a vampire and she was a ghost. It was fun!
Kennedy asked to be a chicken next year. NO clue where that came from! So we may do a Old Mac Donald theme next year but its too early to tell. She will most likely forget by then. L is wanting to do Spider Man so the girls may be Super Woman and Wonder Woman. Halloween is one of my top favorite holidays so Im always thinking about the next year!
Did A get TONS of candy?
We went to about 3 streets but only got a gallon size each. Normally with the 3 streets we did when I was little and years past with my kids they would have double or triple that. ToTing was on Saturday this year and at least 2 houses we went to said they didnt know until kids starting showing up. One didnt have candy and had to turn their lights off. THe other luckily had candy for Sunday so they just started handing it out. I know around here some city/county did it Friday, we did it Sat, more did it Sunday and then one did it tonight! A lot of houses we went to had their lights off that normally have them on. It was confusing this year as to when each area was doing it.
ETA: I do think what they got is more than enough. Just saying that normally its way more. We do it for fun more than the getting the candy. The candy will last us past Cmas until Im tired of looking at it and toss it. (gasp)
EMT, I really don't need to comment on the cutEness of those children. And, I love a good Dorothy costume.
Lucky, she got a reasonable amount. She's not a huge candy eater and hasn't really asked for it so I'll put it up and give it to her for treats. I think she had a good time and I hate I wasn't able to go with her. I think it would have been fun to dress up. I love how kids plan so far ahead. Got to be ready!
