In the Playtex Ventaire bottle I got. This is a manufacturing defect, right? Weird....

    I have one dr.brown's bottle that came with a nipple like that. I am so impatient that instead of taking it back I steralized a pin and made a hole.

    Yeah the ones we got didn't have holes in them either! We tried to make holes, but it still didn't work. My favorite bottles now are the $.99 at Wal-Mart the Parent's Choice ones.

    That happened to me with a Gerber nipple when DD was an infant.  I discovered this at 2 in the morning when I was trying to feed her and she kept screaming her head off because nothing was coming out.  I was so ticked that I wrote a letter.  They sent me a bunch of coupons for free Gerber stuff.  You should try it!
