Thank you!! I'm going to AW my kids till Halloween's over. I'm ashamed at how long it took me to put Connor's together. Usually I am so dedicated to finish costumes once I start sewing. But this year's costume was very intricate and each piece, in my mind, had to look a certain way.
I even sewed him a trick or treat bag last night that matched his waist coat material.
I love your daughter's shoes. If Emma would keep them on I would buy her some. I love the baby skull clothing. Emma is growing so fast now it's hard to find clothes that fit. No designers use one template in making their clothes. I feel like it's been wasted money if she wears it once and no longer fits.
WOW! You made them? Props to you! I'm even more impressed now!
Thank you. Yeah, I'm the same way with Ri, but luckily she seems to keep her shoes on and her height and weight have leveled out for a little bit. Just sucks because I can't buy anything a head of time because I have no idea if she's going to start growing quickly again, or if she's going to stay leveled out for a bit. Kind of annoying.

Yeah I did. I sewed Emma's costume in about 3 hours. Connor's took considerably longer. I bought the hat, wig, eyebrows, and makeup. The white shirt is his. The tie/ascot I made from a wrap from one of my evening gowns. The waist coat I made as well as the spool bandolier. The jacket I bought about 6 seasons ago from Charlotte Russe and embellished the lapel with bright colored embroidery floss.
I did go back to Ulta yesterday and get a milk colored eye foundation pencil to use in place of the crappy white face cream. I also picked up the eye shadow colors as well to match the ones used in Johnny Depp's promo poster for the Alice In Wonderland Movie.
Now I'm thinking about cutting out a piece of material in the shape of a tea cup and sew it to her costume. *I had some people tell me she looks too much like a bear instead of a mouse*

Wow. Well, they look great and I'm super impressed!
You'd be surprised how resourceful you can be.
