So excited to have some progress!

-cori checks, child abuse checks, and fingerprints are all mailed

-profile is finished                                                                  

-autobiography is finished (for homestudy)

Monday is our second meeting (out of 4). We were told they would be weekly after the second.

Two questions:  How long does it take for fbi clearances to come back? How long does it typically take for the home study to be officially complete after the last meeting?

It all varies.... I can't remember how long the FBI prints were but my came back before DH's and we have both been printed before for jobs. Our homestudy was rushed and it took 2 weeks to complete after all the paperwork and visits were done.

We were told to expect the FBI checks to take 13 weeks to clear... ours were mailed to the agency after 9 weeks.

We just had our last meeting with our social worker last week, and she told me that she has up to 45 days to write our report and for us to expect it in 30-45 days.  So, the timeline depends on how quickly your social worker gets things written up.
