The heels I am wearing today are too high :/

I am all wobbly and I feel like I am walking funny. GAH.

I think they are about 3 inches and that seems to be about 1 inch too many. What is your max heel height for normal days (as in not special occasion)?

I stopped wearing heels around 30 weeks when I was pregnant and now wear them extremely rarely. I wear flats almost every day. I am not often accused of bringing sexy back.

If it's a solid heel, then I can do 2 1/2 or 3 inches MAX.

But a skinny heel?  Like...2 inches.

3 inch heels at work means I can't sit comfortably at my desk becaues my knees ram in to my drawer (grumble, grumble).  That being said, 3 inch heels are my daily standard - I just go barefoot while I'm at my desk (and I keep socks in my purse because I hate having cold feet).

I love heels...but I have to be careful with my 6'0 height that I don't look like a giant.  2in. max for me.

Probably around 2.5-3 inches. I think it's hard to find heels shorter than that these days!

aaannnd now I have a second problem. I am having to sit crooked because my legs don't really fit comfortably under my desk.

Today I am in 3in heels and I love them.  That is probably the max height I wear.  And they are skinny heels.

at work i usually wear 3-4 inch heels. i'm short, i need all the help i can get! for me it depends on the shoe. i have these black peep toe heels that are 4 inches, and are super comfortable. i have a pair of pink leopard heels peep toes, different shoe maker, and i'm wobbly in those (also 4 inches) because of the way the heel curves.

I must say that I do find walking in skinny heels MUCH more challenging when lugging a 26lb 1 year old on my hip....

Depending on the brand, I can go 2-3", but not in a skinny heel. I'm talking Naturalizer or Softspots classy work peep-toes with the nice chunky-tapered heel.

I'm super comfy in 2 inch heels which is what I wear to work usually. 3 inch is still ok but not if I'm going to be walking a lot. I love the way 4 inch heels look but I'll only rock those if we're going to a fancy dinner or party.

I mostly wear cute flats to work but ocassionally I'll rock a 3 inch wedge. I love wedges. Where I work, you'd look kinda funny wearing 3 inch skinny heels.

This summer I tried wearing a pair of 4 inch heels to a wedding. I couldn't even get out of my house in them! I seriously could not walk! Yet just before I got PG w/ DD1 (so around 3.5 years ago), I wore those same shoes in a friends wedding...and I wore them ALL day long with no problems! ::::sigh::::

wedges, ladies! the answer to your troubles is wedges! still gives you height, but sooooo much easier to walk/balance in.

I wish I could wear heels!  I have freakishly high arches so anything more than about 1.5" and my foot looks like it is falling out forwards.

I could wear a 4 inch heel on boots for hours. Regular heels more like 2-3 inches.

When I was teaching I'd wear 4 inch heels all the time. Now I hardly ever wear them.

ETA: I do have some 5 inchers as well. I love high heels. I miss them.

I normally wear about three inches.  Anything higher than that I do not plan on doing too much walking though.
