Colic Calm - any negative experiences or side effects?

Our baby doesn't have colic, but she does have persistent gas, frequent hiccups, and possible mild reflux.  We prefer Colic Calm to Mylicon as it helps my baby get relief from all of these problems.  It is working well for us, but I have to admit the color of the liquid and the black stuff in the diaper freaks me out a little bit.  Has anyone heard anything negative about the product?  TIA

We use this too. Havent heard any negatives about it though. The color did freak me out too at first!

We use it in combination with the mylecon and we love it. Well, it's creepy to see his mouth black after, but it doesn't appear to stain or anything and LO loves the taste. To my knowledge Colic Calm is one of the safer ones because it doesn't have to go in the fridge.

Sometimes when DS spits up it stains his stuff purple due to the vegetable charcoal in it.  And it seems to stick in his stomach for a long time which I don't like.  He can spit up hours after I've given it to him and it still stains stuff purple.  But other than that, no real side effects I've noticed.
